Fall sports season information

Fall sports are primed to begin and parents are encouraged to schedule a physical for children as soon as possible.

Fees for the 2014-15 school year are $35 for a high school ASB card, $30 for a middle school ASB card and a $5 fee for each sport.

Students participating in extra-curricular activities must have an ASB card. Students with ASB cards also receive free admission to home games and reduced admission prices at away games.

Schedules and paperwork can be found on OneDrive, formerly called SkyDrive.

Season ticket prices are $80 for adults, $55 for senior citizens, and $50 for Kindergarten through Eighth Graders and $180 for a family pass.

Family passes apply to immediate family only and do not include college students.

Important dates for the fall sports season are:

August 19 will be the fall preseason meeting 6 p.m., Gilson Gymnasium.

At this meeting paperwork and sports fees are turned in for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague high school football and volleyball athletes.

At 6:45 p.m. there will be a parent meeting. Paperwork and fees for middle school athletes can be turned in this day as well, but the parent meetings will be held at a later date.

August 20 is the first day of high school football practice.

August 25 is the first day of high school volleyball practice.

August 29 is the date of the Football Jamboree in Ritzville at 6 p.m. The teams in attendance at the event include Colfax, Davenport, Northwest Christian, Warden, Medical Lake, Tri-Cities Prep and Connell.

September 2 is the first day of school and the first day of practice for middle school teams.
