Voter registration deadline July 7

Persons registered to vote in Washington have until July 7 to update their voter registration to Adams County. After July 7 voters will not be allowed to transfer or change their address until after the Aug. 5 primary election.

State law permits registration through July 28 for persons who are new registrants of Washington state.

These individuals must register in person at the Adams County Auditor’s Office at 210 West Broadway Avenue in the Adams County Courthouse in Ritzville.

Only voters not already registered in the State of Washington may register during this period.

Registration can be completed at the Auditor’s Office or online at http://www.vote.wa.gov. The Auditor’s Office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
