Bulldog News: School concludes with fun activities for local students

It’s the last week of school and the students at Lind-Ritzville Middle School (LRMS) are excited for summer break. There are still some final things to be done, though.

Monday was the annual Silverwood trip for the middle school and high school bands. They went to Silverwood and played their instruments for half an hour and went on all of the rides.

The band members were really excited for the trip to the popular theme park. Thank you to Jennifer York and all of the chaperones that went, we had a great time.

Tuesday was orientation at the middle school for the upcoming sixth graders. It was a great experience for them to get to know their schoolmates for the next year.

Wednesday was the field trip for the middle school students. They went to Pattison’s Roller Skating Rink. The students had a blast roller-skating.

Thanks to Shanon Davis, Megan Buriak the Associated Student Body (ASB) Activities Coordinator and the ASB for organizing the trip and letting us go to Pattison’s.

Thursday is eighth grade promotion. The eighth graders are the second group to graduate from LRMS. There is a dance afterwards for sixth, seventh and eighth grade Lind-Ritzville students, but everybody is invited to come to the promotion ceremony to support the Bulldogs. Congratulations eighth graders!

Friday is the last day of school. Thank you to the teachers and staff that have taught and supported us all year long, and a special thanks to our wonderful principal, Guy Strot.

It’s the end of the year, and we encourage you to attend eighth grade promotion and thank the LRMS teachers and staff. Have a great summer!
