Bulldog news: Students focus on yearend projects

Just as spring has sprung, so have fourth quarter projects. Lind-Ritzville Middle School groups are conducting service projects, electing new officers, and coming up with fun ways to end the 2013-2014 school year.

Mr. Jason Sanger’s sixth grade leadership class is holding a bake sale on Wednesday, April 30. The sale will last from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the middle school ball field. All of the proceeds will go to the Lind-Ritzville Middle School ASB. Please come and buy some goodies to support the LRMS!

Honor Society has also elected new officers for next year. Lacey Miller is the new president, Sharon Anderson is the new vice president, and Spencer Gering is the new secretary/treasurer. The new members and new officers are excited for this coming year of Honor Society!

The ASB is working on some fun ways to end the year, such as a Pre-Test Party. All of the students this year will be taking the SBAC test in May, so the ASB wanted to hold a party before the SBAC to get into the testing spirit.

Come support the Bulldogs at their sporting events too this season! There is a softball game, baseball game, and a track meet on Thursday. The softball and baseball games are in Spangle against Liberty, and the track meet is in Davenport.

The results for the middle school track meet in Odessa on the April 17 are: the eighth grade boys finished in fourth place, while the eighth grade girls finished fifth. The seventh grade boys’ team earned eighth place, and the seventh grade girls took third.
