Summer help joins public works crew

Tom Balfe has come out of retirement and Nathan Bucher returns for the second summer to assist the city’s public works crew with the upkeep of the cemetery and other city owned facilities.

Balfe, who retired from public works, long cared for the park and cemetery.

Larry Swift, public works director, said the seasonal employees will help the crew keep up with a long list of current projects.
