Ritzville’s insurance rating to be examined

The Washington State Survey and Rating Bureau (WSRB) will visit Ritzville on Tuesday, April 8.

Fire Chief Jim Bostic said the agency will be here to review the fire department, the city’s water system and communication system. The review will determine what the city’s insurance rating should be.

“They inspect and evaluate the fire defenses and building code enforcement of cities, counties, and municipal fire districts to develop and publish comparative classifications.
