Registration is open for popular Bloomsday race

With a little over two months before the 38th running of the Lilac Bloomsday Run, over 8,000 runners and walkers have registered, and a final tally of 50,000 is expected by race day. Registration for the 12-kilometer race is still open for the May 4 event.

The Bloomsday experience is similar to the 2013 event, with participants starting on Riverside Avenue and finishing at the north end of the Monroe Street Bridge.
