Foreign exchange student coordinator located in Ritzville

Liz Smith has been appointed International Exchange Coordinator for EF Foundation for Foreign Study, the leader in high school exchange. Smith is working with EF Foundation placement specialists to match international students with host families living in and around Ritzville.

Smith is currently seeking host families for the 2014 school year.

“We welcome host families of all shapes and sizes. Among those who truly enjoy the exchange experience are parents looking to give their families a glimpse of the world and introduce their children to new customs and cultures, without having to travel the globe,” Smith said. “More than 30 percent of our host families enjoy the experience so much, they choose to host again.”

In addition to serving as a coordinator, Smith and her family have decided to host their first student for the 2014 school year.
