A VICTORY

Carol Ann Davis of Frederick, Maryland, makes a strong point as she talks to the room full of guests who gathered Saturday to congratulate Doug Kelly. Kelly had a bone marrow transplant in July 2012. Davis was the only registered donor in the world who was a perfect match for Kelly, a 1982 Lind High School graduate. Friends and family gathered to celebrate the news that Kelly has been declared cured as a result of the transplant. His wife, Lisa, arranged the surprise visit from Davis.
