On Friday night the Lady Tigercats went on the road to face Rosalia and returned home with a 45-22 loss to the Lady Spartans. After a close match in the first half, the Lady Spartans outscored the Lady Tigercats 26-13 in the second half, securing the league win for Rosalia.

Lindsey Miller led the Lady Tigercats in scoring with eight points, followed by Nicole Harder with five points. Blauert added three points, while Jazzmyn Gordon, Jessica Guske and Kadie Whinery each scored two points.

Saturday night the Lady Tigercats hosted GP and after struggling in the first quarter, the Lady Tigercats controlled the tempo for the next two quarters. A strong fourth quarter by GP eventually gave the Lady Vikings the win with a final score of 41-29.

GP jumped out to an early lead, outscoring the Lady Tigercats 12-3 in the first eight minutes of play. The LWK athletes battled back in the second by matching GP, with each team scoring seven points. The Lady Tigercats went into halftime trailing 19-10.

The Lady Tigercats returned to the court in the second half with a renewed intensity and closed the gap by outscoring GP 13-7. The effort came up short in the fourth when the Lady Vikings relied on Taylor Redman to increase the scoring spread. Redman scored 23 points against the Lady Tigercats, with 12 of those points scored in the fourth.

The Lady Tigercats attempted a full court press in the fourth quarter to cause havoc for GP, but the effort fell short when GP broke down the press.

Miller and Gordon both had a successful shooting night for the Lady Tigercats as both girls scored double digits. Miller led the LWK team in scoring with 14 points, closely followed by Gordon with 12 points. Guske ended the night with two points and Blauert sank one free throw.

The Lady Tigercats matched up against Touchet on Tuesday night and fell to the Lady Indians with a final score of 58-34.
