Caring Neighbors donates to Lind Elementary School

The Caring Neighbors board recently donated $3,000 to the Lind Elementary School. The donated money was used to help fund the Raising a Reader program at the preschool in Lind. The check was presented by Dale Anderson (photo left) to preschool teacher Lori Olson (center) and Superintendent Rob Roettger (right). The school received the books, which were distributed to the youngsters at special luncheons in November.

Caring Neighbors is a non-profit entity established by Big Bend Electric Co-op. The members of Big Bend Electric Co-op have donated the funds for Caring Neighbors.
