Solicitors, fraud topic of Chamber meeting

At the general membership meeting of the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce, Ritzville Police Officer Tom Gracie will present vital information to citizens about solicitors and credit card fraud. The meeting takes place today, Thursday, Dec. 12, at The Ritz Roadhouse, beginning at noon.

Officer Gracie will provide vital information for individuals and businesses about what solicitors are required to have before they can sell their merchandise. Handouts and signage regarding solicitors will also be distributed.

In addition to discussing solicitors, Officer Gracie is also available to answer questions regarding credit card fraud and what individuals can do to protect themselves to prevent credit card theft.

The Ritz Roadhouse is located at 1604 South Smitty’s Boulevard.
