Ritzville chamber launches lighting contest

Residents and businesses within the Ritzville city limits are invited to participate in the annual Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas Lighting Contest.

The 2013 lighting contest is open to residences and businesses within the city limits. Winners for Best Decorated Home and Best Decorated Business will receive recognition by the chamber, as well as in The Ritzville Adams County Journal.

In addition, the two winners will receive $20 in Chamber Bucks.

Lights and decorations need to be turned on and in place by 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, when a committee of judges will canvas the city to determine the winners of the contest.
