Genealogy course at Ritzville Public Library

The Friends of the Library organization members are hosting “Genealogy 101: A Beginner’s Course” at the Ritzville Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 8.

The group is hosting two separate sessions, with the first session running from 2-4 p.m. and an evening class from 6-8.

The course is free to the public, and Shirley Penna-Oakes of the Eastern Washington Genealogical Society is leading the course about how individuals can trace their ancestry.
