Lind Senior Center needs volunteers

The Lind Senior Center is experiencing a shortage in volunteer workers due to health concerns among their current staff.

Board members are seeking an individual in the community to volunteer one day a week, specifically filling the position of cook’s helper. The volunteer position is for one day a week from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The volunteer will assist with daily chores including setting tables, preparing beverages, answering the telephone and assisting the cook as directed.
