Candidate filing period opens May 13

The 2013 Adams County candidate filing period opens on May 13 and closes on May 17 for the Aug. 6 primary election and Nov. 5 general election.

This year, there are three filing options for candidates: in person at Adams County Auditor’s Office, online or by mail.

Individuals can register at the Auditors Office located at 210 West Broadway Avenue Suite 200 in Ritzville. Questions can also be directed to the Auditor’s Office by calling 659-3249.

Online candidate filing is available at http://co.adams.wa.us by following the “elections” link on the left side of the screen.

Candidates can file by mail after receiving a form from the Auditor’s Office or from the website.
