Adams County Sheriff's Office Report

Jan. 5, 7:08 p.m. – Sergeant Brian Taylor contacted a subject on West Galbreath Way for a citizen assist. Disptach advised the subject had a warrant out of Kennewick. Sgt. Taylor arrested Brianna Marie Brannan and booked her into the Adams County Jail.

Jan. 5, 6:06 p.m. – Sergeant Taylor responded to agency assist call from Washington State Patrol on the I-90 eastbound ramp from Hwy 395. Upon arrival, DOT was on scene and removed the debris. Two cars had struck the items and caused flat tires. Sgt. Taylor assisted a motorist with changing a tire.

Jan. 4, 1:19 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of a possible burglary on East Lee Road. Deputy Dan Verhey contacted the complainant at the home. Complainant provided Dep. Verhey with an inventory of the missing items.

Jan. 4, 10:50 a.m. – Deputy Verhey stopped a subject for speeding on North Main Street and East North Avenue in Washtucna. The subject came back suspended and Dep. Verhey generated a report.

Jan. 3, 8:31 p.m. – Dispatch advised of a suspicious 911 hang up call on North Moody Road in Ritzville. Deputy Aaron Madison contacted the residence and subjects advised the five-year-old child was playing with the phone.

Jan. 3, 6:23 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of a suspicious vehicle spotlighting in the area of West First Street. Complainant advised of a minivan type vehicle. Deputy Madison checked the area and did not locate any vehicle.

Jan. 3, 4:12 p.m. – Lind complainant advised their child was receiving vulgar text messages. Complainant advised Deputy Madison, they do not want to pursue charges at this time, they just want the messages to stop.

Jan. 3, 2:20 p.m. – Complainant from Moses Lake advised of a white Subaru in the area of North Theil Road and East Schoessler Road that was pulling a sled of kids down the roadway. Deputy Verhey checked the area and was unable to find the described vehicle.

Jan. 3, 10:08 a.m. – Sergeant Stacy Flynn responded to an agency assist call from the Ritzville City Police regarding information obtained at the high school.

Jan. 3, 7:40 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised they had information regarding a suspicious person driving around the area of East Rosenoff Road and North Suko Road. Sergeant Flynn contacted the complainant about this information.

Jan. 3, 6:56 a.m. – Lind complainant reported a domestic assault on East Fifth Street. Deputy Verhey made contact with the complainant who advised the male subject had left the residence. It was found an assault had taken place. Units attempted to locate the male suspect but were unable to locate him.

Jan. 2, 9:57 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a vehicle that almost struck the complainant at a high rate of speed while turning from North Hills onto Danekas Road.

Complainant advised the vehicle was in the wrong lane and missing a headlight. Deputies Madison and Ben Buriak searched the area and did not locate the vehicle.

Jan. 2, 6:55 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a verbal domestic on North Rand Lane. Deputies Madison and Buriak responded and contacted the parties involved. An unidentified juvenile was arrested for malicious mischief in the third degree domestic violence. The juvenile was transported to another residence for the night.

Jan. 2, 3:33 p.m. – A report was generated for sex offender address verification on South Jackson Street in Ritzville.

Jan. 2, 3:32 p.m. – A report was generated for sex offender address verification on South Elm Street in Washtucna.

Jan. 2, 3:29 p.m. – A report was generated for sex offender address verification on West Second Avenue in Ritzville.

Jan. 2, 3:24 p.m. – A report was generated for sex offender address verification on South St. Claire Avenue in Lind.

Jan. 2, 3:23 p.m. – A report was generated for sex offender address verification on South Jefferson Street in Ritzville.

Jan. 2, 3:21 p.m. – A report was generated for sex offender address verification on East Fourth Avenue in Ritzville.

Jan. 2, 3:14 p.m. – While on patrol Deputy Verhey observed a cushion falling out of the back of a pickup on East Danekas Road and North Bauman Road in Ritzville. Dep. Verhey warned the subject about hauling an unsecured load.

Jan. 2, 3:29 p.m. – A report was generated for sex offender address verification on East Third Street in Lind.

Jan. 2, 3:11 p.m. – A report was generated for sex offender address verification on South Adams Street in Ritzville.

Jan. 2, 9:59 a.m. – While on patrol Deputy Verhey observed a hubcap come loose from a vehicle as it passed by. Dep. Verhey stopped the vehicle and returned the hubcap.

Jan. 1, 11:50 p.m. – Washtucna complainant advised they received a strange call from a subject who was crying. Complainant believed the subject was in distress near North Bauer Road. Deputy Jeffrey Lane contacted the subject who advised they were fine. Subject further advised they had placed the call because they were in a collision and needed a ride home.

Jan. 1, 5:51 p.m. – Ritzville complainant reported a suspicious knock on their door on North Deal Road. Sergeant Taylor made contact with the complainant who had discovered one of their animals had knocked over a piece of wood onto the porch.

Jan. 1, 3:13 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a juvenile subject possibly suicidal, running out on North Klein Road. Deputies Verhey and Buriak located the juvenile subject and their parents. Subject made statement they wanted to kill themselves. Dep. Buriak placed the subject into protective custody and transported them to East Adams Rural Hospital for evaluation.

Jan. 1, 4:59 a.m. – Deputy Lane responded to an agency assist call on South Highway 395 near milepost 85. Washington State Patrol requested assistance with a wrong way driver.

Jan. 1, 3:35 a.m. – Othello complainant advised of a hit and run accident at a location on Cherry Street in Hatton. Complainant advised the fleeing subject was believed to be under the influence. Deputies Lane and Craig Frank searched the area and were unable to located the suspect vehicle.
