Newspaper format changes

This week’s edition of The Journal comes to you in a significantly altered state. Like the majority of newspapers across the state, your community newspaper has been forced to conform to the industry’s new width.

Most newspapers converted to this narrower format a couple of years ago. For The Journal, it became necessary now, after the printing plant in Cheney converted to the narrower width in October.
