Lind students seeking gift donations for Christmas Store

Students at Lind Elementary School are seeking donations for gently used or new gift items for a special holiday project.

Preschool teacher, Lori Olson, started the idea of having, “The Little Learners Christmas Store,” to allow students to have a local shopping day for those in need of gifts for the Christmas holiday.

Items accepted are gently used clothing, toys and household items suitable for a holiday gift.

All items collected will be at the store for the students to purchase, on Thursday, Dec. 13.

Students enrolled in preschool through third grade will receive coupons to use in the store and have the opportunity to “shop” for presents for their family members.

Donations are accepted through Friday, Dec. 7, and can be dropped off at the school located at 206 West Third Street in Lind, or by contacting Olson at 677-3481.
