Whitmore named as coach of the week

After leading the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague football team to a 34-0 victory over Reardan, head coach Greg Whitmore was announced as one of week seven’s “NFL High School Coaches of the Week.” The Seattle Seahawks and Sterling Bank announced the award on Oct. 19.

Whitmore’s coaching has provided the LRS team with a 7-0 record this season, and awarded the team the title of Northeast 2B League champions.

The NFL High School Coach of the Week program is a partnership between the Washington State Football Coaches Association, the Seattle Seahawks and Sterling Bank.
