Sept. 15, 11:12 a.m. – Lind complainant requested a hulk vehicle form on East Third Street. Deputy Ned Bernath responded with the hulk vehicle report.

Sept. 15, 10:32 a.m. – Lind complainant requested a hulk vehicle form on West Main Street. Dep. Bernath responded with a hulk vehicle report.

Sept. 14, 10:46 p.m. – Deputy Ben Buriak responded to a citizen assist in Lind. Complainant from Portland advised they needed assistance obtaining fuel due to the pumps not operating properly. Dep. Buriak assisted as needed.

Sept. 14, 1:39 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of an unknown medical at a location on East Fifth Street. Dep. Aaron Madison arrived on scene and contacted the listed subjects. Both advised they had a verbal argument and the female subject had slammed a door causing the glass to break and cut her wrist. Subject was transported to EARH by the Ritzville ambulance.

Sept. 14, 10:53 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a cow out on the roadway near East Calloway Road and North Klein Road. Dep. Madison arrived on scene at the same time as the listed owner. Owner placed cows back into the pasture and Dep. Madison cleared.

Sept. 13, 10:14 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of loud music on North I Street. Deputy Dan Verhey checked the area and found the music had been turned off. No contact was made with the subject due to the music being off.

Sept. 13, 7:28 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of possible child molestation at a location on East Third Street in Lind. Deputy Jeffery Lane contacted the complainant to investigate.

Sept. 13, 7:23 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of subjects arguing over a dog being in a neighbors yard. Prior to Dep. Lane arriving on the scene the dog was impounded by Town of Lind. Owner will retrieve the dog in the morning and all parties separated.

Sept. 13, 4:22 p.m. – BNSF reported a subject sitting on the railroad tracks at East Danekas Road and North Bauman Road. The listed subject was found in the city limits. Sgt. Troy Mock was notified of the call.

Sept. 13, 12:57 p.m. – Lind complainant advised they would be removing remaining belongings from West Second Street associated with an eviction.

Sept. 12, 11:17 p.m. – Deputy Verhey advised the Yield sign on East Davis Road has been knocked down by a piece of farm equipment. Dep. Verhey requests dispatch send an email to Public Works to advise them of the traffic hazard.

Sept. 12, 4:49 p.m. – While on patrol, Dep. Lane located and removed several pieces of tire from the roadway near milepost 72 on Hwy 26.

Sept. 12, 4:31 p.m. –

Washtucna complainant advised pieces of a burnt motor home were blocking the roadway on East May Street and North Main Street. Dep. Lane arrived on the scene and found nothing blocking the roadway.

Sept. 12, 2:23 p.m. – Lind complainant requested contact in reference to narcotics located at the middle school on North E Street. Dep. Bernath arrived and completed the investigation. An unidentified juvenile was arrested and placed in custody of Martin Hall.

Sept. 12, 10:49 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a welfare check on East Danekas Road and North Sage Road. Call was turned over to RPD because the complainant and the subject were both in city limits.

Sept. 12, 10:44 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised the lights on the radio tower at Sheriff’s Hill are not working. Listed company who replaces and conducts maintenance on the tower advised they will fix and replace the burnt out lights.

Sept. 11, 7:14 p.m. – WSP requested agency assistance with a vehicle search on eastbound I90 near milepost 212. Dep. Bernath stood by while Trooper Tyler Fryberger searched the vehicle. Dep. Bernath cleared without incident at the completion of the search.

Sept. 11, 11:25 a.m. –

Washtucna complainant advised of a runaway juvenile from South Palouse River Lane. Dispatch entered the juvenile into WCIC/NCIC.

Sept. 11, 7:37 a.m. – WSP Trooper Carmen Herrington located cows out on East Heinemann Road and North Thiel Road. While Dep. Madison was en route, Trooper Herrington got the cows back in the fenced area. Animal owner was contacted by dispatch.

Sept. 10, 6:23 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a cold burglary on North Batum Road. Deputy Buriak contacted the complainant and investigated the scene. It was determined whomever was in the residence was prepping it to remove all the copper wire and fixtures.

Sept. 10, 5:26 p.m. – Child Protective Services requested agency assistance on a welfare check at North Main Street in Washtucna. Deputy Bernath assisted as needed.

Sept. 9, 7:02 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of a possible burglary to several units at a location on South Hwy 21. Deputy Lane responded to investigate.

Sept. 9, 11:03 a.m. – Deputy Bernath was advised by a complainant from Stanwood that their soon to be ex did not arrive at the WSP office for a child exchange at 9 a.m. Complainant advised they received an email stating the child was ill and not fit for travel at the time. Complainant further advised there is no parenting plan as of now and all contacts are by mutual agreement. Dep. Bernath advised the complainant that he would create a law incident report for future reference.

Sept. 9, 9:22 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of cow in their yard on East Danekas Road. While en route, Dep. Bernath was advised the owner of the cow had placed it back where it belonged. Dep. Bernath cleared.

Sept. 9, 2:31 a.m. – While on patrol Dep. Verhey located a company vehicle parked with the running lights still on. Vehicle was locked and secure. Dep. Verhey checked the area and found no problems.

Sept. 9, 2:30 a.m. – RPD Officer Hunter Klewin requested assistance with a domestic at East Second Avenue. Sgt. Brian Taylor authorized the assist. Deputy Verhey assisted with officer safety on the scene.

Sept. 9, 2:01 a.m. – Deputy Verhey was advised of a cow in the roadway at North Benzel Road and East Wellsandt Road in Ritzville. Contact was attempted with the suspected owner with no answer and a message left. Dep. Verhey checked the area and did not find the cow.

Sept. 9, 1:18 a.m. – Lind complainant requests assistance with lifting a subject, who can’t get up on their own. Non-medical call. Deputy Buriak arrived on scene and learned the subject was lifted back into a chair by neighbors. No further assistance was needed.
