Collard twins share wedding day

A double wedding was held at the Comfort Inn in Downtown Spokane, at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 3.

The twin brides, Rebecca and Stephanie Collard, each wore white ball gowns and the individual bridal parties had their own signature colors.

Rebecca wore a white tulle gown with seed pearls and satin accents that was complimented with a cathedral length veil.

Her maid of honor was Samantha Smith, a coworker, and bridesmaid was Heidi Young, the sister of the groom. The bridesmaids wore red gowns with black accessories and the party carried bouquets made of red roses and white lilies.

The groom, Benjamin Jensen, wore a black zoot suit with a red paisley vest.

His best man was Jessy Newberry, his best friend, and groomsman was Daniel Jensen, the grooms brother.

The groomsmen wore black on black tuxedos and each wore boutonnieres made of red and white roses.

Stephanie wore an ivory strapless satin gown with pearl accents and a cathedral length veil that was trimmed in lace. Her maid of honor was Kristi Burnson, and bridesmaid was Chelsea Raugustand, both best friends. The bridesmaids wore purple gowns with white accessories. The entire bridal party carried bouquets arranged of purple lilacs and white roses.

The groom, Derick Miller, wore a black zoot suit with purple paisley vest.

His best man was Alex Carsin, and groomsman was James Curo, Jr., both best friends. The groomsmen wore black on black tuxedos and each wore boutonnieres made of purple lilacs and white roses.

The grooms and ring bearer wore festive fedoras for the ceremony and Sharon Moon officiated.

The parents of the brides are Pete and Jan Collard of Ritzville.

The parents of groom Ben Jensen are Bev (Steve) Slater of Spokane, and Keith Jensen, deceased.

The parents of groom Derick Miller are Anita (Dave) Gehret of Spokane, and Frederick (Jane) Miller of Illinois.

Rebecca and Ben Jensen honeymooned at an undisclosed lakeside location.

Stephanie and Derick Miller honeymooned at the historic Davenport Hotel, in the honeymoon suite in Spokane following the nuptials.

Both couples make their home and are employed in the Spokane area.
