Trophy saga comes to a close

During the regular meeting of the Lind and Ritzville school board’s on April 23, superintendent Rob Roettger announced that the trophy issue has finally come a close. The FFA trophies that had been disposed of earlier this school year have now been fully replaced and paid for.

The biggest news to the school boards were that the school did not have to pay any out of pocket costs for the replacement of the trophies. The Ritzville FFA Alumni and WestBred, a division of Monsanto, have covered the cost in full, with WestBred donating a large portion of the cost.

The trophies are now on display at Ritzville High School.
