Chamber meeting to highlight historic preservation, new website launch

The Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its monthly general membership meeting on Thursday, June 14, beginning at noon at Casuela’s Grill on Main Avenue.

The featured topic of this month’s meeting is the Historic Preservation Tax Credit application process, how the tax credit works and how to apply for it as well as implications on property taxes.

Guest speakers are Carry Anthony, CPA, of Leffel, Otis & Warwick, P.S. and Adams County Assessor Sherri Brewer.

In addition, the meeting serves as the first public showing of the chamber’s new website http://www.visitritzville.com.

The website serves as not only a digital advertisement for Ritzville, its activities and events, but also as a benefit to chamber members in good standing.

Each chamber business has a unique website login where business owners can post specials and coupons as well as upcoming events.

Information about logins, what a chamber member can do on the website and general information about the website is going to be available during the meeting.

The event is a no-host luncheon where business owners, employees, elected officials and the general public meets for an informative program and takes advantage of networking with individuals.

All chamber events are open to the public.

For more information, contact the chamber in person at 111 West Main Avenue, by phone at 659-1936 or by e-mail at [email protected].
