Community shred day, hosted by students

The Ritzville High School Honor Society is hosting a community wide shred day on Saturday, June 2. The event begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon.

The shredders are going to be set up at 203 West Broadway, across from the Adams County Courthouse in Schoesler’s equipment lot.

All of the paper brought to the students cannot have metal binder clips or be binder-style notebooks. Staples and paperclips are allowed.

The event is to allow community members with an opportunity to dispose of sensitive documents appropriately, without the risk of compromising the privacy of the papers. Students are going to be at the event to help any individual that may need assistance.
