Assault reported in Washtucna School

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of an assault that had occurred around May 7, at the Washtucna School.

The complaint was filed on May 16 by a grandparent of the 14-year-old victim. The complainant advised police that the principal had sat on their grandson because he had disobeyed school rules.

The Sheriff’s Office has assigned a deputy to investigate this complaint after which a report will be forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office.
