Lind rallies around Jenkins' family with benefit feast

The Lind Grange Hall hosted a luncheon fundraiser last Sunday for Lind community member Ray Jenkins and his wife, Glenda. Ray is currently battling cancer.

According to school district employees, Christy Saetre and Tina Schuler, the event was a huge success.

“After food costs and expenses, a total of $3,400 was raised for the Jenkins family,” said Schuler, “In addition to the money raised, staff members at the school donated a total of 32 days of their own sick leave to Glenda so she can stay home with Ray.”
