Lumber yard opens

Ritzville Lumber will open its doors to the public this weekend for a soft opening.

A grand opening is planned for a few months later, after the store’s inventory has been completely reset. The store will be open Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday hours for now will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There is a significant amount of scrap lumber, metal, peg board and other materials that have been removed from the building. Those materials are free for the taking as long as interested parties load and haul it away....
