City of Ritzville to consider funding requests Nov. 8

The Ritzville City Council’s Finance Committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, to consider funding requests submitted by local non-profit orgnizations.

The requests seek a portion of the funds collected by the city through a bed tax assessed by hotels and motels within the city. The 110 Tourism Funds are used to support the promotion of Ritzville and investment in infrastructure for groups such as the Ritzville Rodeo Association and the Wheat Land Communites Fair.
