AAUW to host candidate forum in September

The Ritzville branch of AAUW (American Association of University Women) will host a candidate forum on Sept. 29 for all contested Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 board positions. All six candidates have accepted the invitation to participate.

This event will be held at the Ritzville Grade School gym from 7-9 p.m.

Candidates include David McCormick and Stacey Selcho Plummer, running for commissioner district No. 3; Joyce Preston and Jeff Reynolds, running for commissioner at large No. 2; and Curt Greenwalt and Jerry Snyder, candidates for commissioner at large No. 4.

The public is invited for this forum.

Note cards, for questions that may be asked of the candidates, will be available at the door.

Those questions will be vetted and used in the latter half of the forum.

Individuals may send in questions to the AAUW committee by contacting Marsha Smith via e-mail at [email protected] prior to Sept 10.

No questions or comments from the floor will be permitted during the candidate forum.

Moderator Dolly Blankenship will pose questions to the hospital board candidates, and a set time limit will be given for responses.
