    With the fair just two weeks away, the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce is in the middle of preparing for its annual ice cream booth at the Wheat Land Communities’ Fair, set for Sept. 1-4. Each year the ice cream booth is a popular location at the fair and serves as one of the chamber’s significant fundraisers.     The Ralston Grange will have a work evening at their building on the Wheat Land Communities’ Fairgrounds on Thursday, Aug. 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The building will be cleaned in preparation for the upcoming fair.
