    There is certainly a lot going on in the world and some of it can really drive a person nuts. I’m not sure if anything good will come out of these negotiations but as long as there are news conferences we will know what each side is trying to do. Depending on what your beliefs are on these subjects can influence what we might think sounds good or will work.     The wheat midge (Sitodiplosis mosellana) has arrived in Washington state, with the potential to damage spring wheat crops. However, WSU scientists do not recommend farmers apply insecticides unless they know they have an economic infestation.     Brenik and Kamie (Arlt) Iverson, of Odessa, are the parents of their third child, a daughter, Aubrey Lee Iverson, born at 7:49 a.m. on June 19, 2011, at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. At birth Aubrey weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and measured 20 inches in length. She joins a brother, Holden, age 4-1/2 years and a sister, Leah, age 2.   • Nighttime seat belt enforcement patrols net 220 citations in three counties

    Between May 23 and June 5 extra law enforcement patrolled city and county roadways at night looking for unbuckled drivers. During the patrols in Grant, Adams and Lincoln Counties, a total of 220 citations were written including 61 seat belt tickets, one DUI and 23 child car seat infractions. In addition, 61 speeding violations, 11 cell phone and two aggressive driving infractions were issued.
