    Upon the departure of the prior management, Gavilon Grain made the decision to become more involved in the Lind area elevators. Gavilon chose trusted employee, Dakin Bushner, for the Union Elevator manager position. Bushner grew up on a farm in Yuma, Colorado, an area very similar to the small community of Lind.     Emergency haying and grazing of CRP has been approved in from Adams, Benton, Columbia, Ferry, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Kittitas, Klickitat, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens, Walla Walla and Yakima counties. Producers with eligible general CRP practices may apply for emergency haying or grazing starting today. Certain restrictions apply and prior approval is required by Farm Service Agency (FSA).
