    RITZVILLE — The Lions Club is holding their annual chicken barbecue Friday, July 24. The event, held each year during the harvest, will take place out at the Wheat Land Communities Fairgrounds chicken shack. This year, especially, will be take-out only; and all COVID-19 precautions will be followed. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and pre-ordering is definitely recommended, as the Lions Club sold out last year. They are cooking 200 chickens this year.
