Val Ray Widmer, 65, passed away in his sleep July 3, 2021 at his Washtucna, Wash. home. He was born March 27, 1956 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, having also lived in Mont. for a time.

If you knew him you know he loved western movies and Oly. Tunes were cranked so the neighbors could hear. He loved the classics, cars, movies and music.

He was a crusty of man to be sure, but you couldn’t help but love him, even if you wanted to hit him with a broom. We’ve all been there. He was funny and had a smart mouth. He did many things but enjoyed farm life the most.
