Larry Steven Anderson

Larry was born in Ritzville to Dan and Alice (Vostral) Anderson on June 28, 1948. Larry passed away on September 9, 2019 due to complications from kidney failure.

Larry grew up on the Anderson family farm near Ritzville with a love for baseball, fishing and cars. He graduated from Ritzville High School in 1966. He attended Spokane Community College studying data processing and computer programming. There he met his first wife Marlene (Bunney). Together they had one daughter April (Anderson) Culbertson.

After college he worked for Spokane County and Deaconess Hospital. Larry moved to the Ritzville area in 1979 and farmed his uncle Oscar's ground until the mid 1990s. He then became a contractor installing data systems and fiber cable splicing.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Ray. He is survived by his daughter April Culbertson (Bruce), grandson Kason, granddaughter Shaye, brothers Don and Dale (Meme), and sister Marlene Huhtanen (George). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and five step-children.

A celebration of life will take place at the Washington Association of Wheat Growers Annex at 1:00 p.m. in Ritzville, WA on Saturday, October 26th, 2019.

Larry will be inurned at Holy Cross Cemetery with his parents. Memorials can be made to the Lind Ritzville Alumni Association Scholarship fund, PO Box 312, Ritzville, WA 99169.
