Ritzville council deals with housekeeping, talks infrastructure planning

The Ritzville City Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting on Jan. 15, as the council dealt with some housekeeping items and discussed Public Works’ infrastructure plan.

The meeting started with the council voting to approve seven ordinances in a span of about 10 minutes. The first three ordinances dealt with closing out four separate funds that were initially approved to be closed via motions during the Nov. 11 council meeting.

Ordinance No. 2122 closed Fund 104 Police Reserve Officer Fund. Police Chief Dave McCormick requested that the fund be closed, as it is no longer needed.
