Ice Age Floods presentation slated for Oct. 8

Dr. Gene Kiver will visit the Ritzville Public Library on Oct. 8 from 7-8 p.m., to give a presentation “Exploring Washington’s Geology,” sponsored by the Ice Age Floods Institute Palouse Chapter.

During the presentation, Kiver will summarize the geology on Washington state, one of the most diverse geologic states in the U.S.

Kiver taught geology for over 32 years at Eastern Washington University and is now an EWU Professor of Geology Emeritus. He co-authored the book “Washington Rocks!” with EWU professors Chad Pritchard and Rik Orndorff.
