Pamala Gail Schmidt (Smith)

On September 3, 2018, Pamala lost her toughest battle and gained her wings. She was born March 28, 1953 to JoAnn Schweitzer in Bakersfield, CA.

She graduated from Falls City High School in Oregon in 1971. She had a daughter, Tanya, at the age of 23 and moved to Ritzville in 1984.

She is survived by her daughter, Tanya, two grandchildren – Sofie and Gavin, a younger sister, Sandy Byrne, nephew Mark Schweitzer (Robin), and great nephew – Roman.

Pam also had a very extensive adoptive family. Numerous daughters, sons and grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

She never met a stranger. If you were lucky enough to cross her path, she loved you unconditionally.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to Shriner’s Children Hospital.
