David Allen Hughes

David Allen Hughes, 64, of Richland, died on Feb. 15.

He was born in Virginia on Sept. 24, 1953, to his parents, Max D. and Florence E. Hughes.

David graduated from Richland (Bombers) High School in 1972. In 1974, he graduated from Denver Automotive.

He then went to CBC and joined the Welding Program from 1976-1979 and was a graduate of Tacoma City Light Apprentice Program.

He was very proud to be a part of St. Jude Hospital and was proud to be part of the I.B.E.W. Local 77. He worked for the City of Richland Electrical Department as the Meter Power and Protection Foreman (MPP Foreman).

David is survived by his brother, Bill Max Hughes; sister, June Catherine Wescott Hughes; brother, James Paul Hughes; sister, Lisa Robbin Hughes; brother, Shawn Eric Hughes and his aunts, uncles, cousins in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Max D. Hughes; mother, Florence E. Hughes and his sister, Suzanne Dardin Hughes.

A service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 5 p.m. at Events at Sunset in Richland.
