Local couple to share experience with StageWest Community Theatre

Long-time Ritzville citizens and members of Ritzville Community Theatre, Kathryn and Harry Schafer, are sharing their extensive theatre experience with StageWest Community Theatre in their fall production of “Academia Nuts”.

Kathryn is acting in the role of Judith Pixner and Harry is making his directorial debut with StageWest.

This is Kathyrn’s fourth production with StageWest and her last role as Clara in “Miracle on South Division Street” was an audience favorite.

Harry has helped on several other productions with StageWest behind the scenes as light and sound-man and he had an off stage voice part in one of the plays. Harry has quite a bit of experience in directing during his years at Ritzville Community Theatre, as Kathryn has as well.

Both have also performed in many productions there. StageWest is very thankful for the addition of these two excellent thespians.
