LWK tennis competes against Davenport

The LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus Tigercats went on the road to face Davenport on the tennis courts on March 29.

The Tigercats’ No. 1 girls doubles team of Serenity Davis and Kiernan Hartwell competed in the first match of the day.

They lost to the Davenport team 0-6, 0-6, but Tigercats Head Coach Staci Gloyn said they had their strongest performance yet this season.

On the court, Gloyn said the Tigercats duo communicated well and showed they are learning each other’s strengths.

Gloyn added she was impressed how well the two athletes supported and encouraged each other during the match.
