Jimmie Bostic

Jimmie Bostic died on Jan. 18. He was born to Dwight and Ruth Bostic on Dec. 10, 1945, in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

In his life, Jimmie had many accomplishments including a Bachelor of Fire Science, Associates of Business, PADI rescue diver, Lieutenant in the Anne Arundel Fire Department, Certified visual tracker, National Park ranger, high mountain rescue and glacier rescue.

He also was a Hot Shot firefighter as well as Fire Chief, EMS coordinator and an EMT1.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Ruth Bostic, several aunts and uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Bostic of Colville; stepdaughter Kristen Moore, granddaughters Maddy and Gabby Harstad of Oak Harbor, stepson Brad Moore, grandson, Isaiah Moore of Bates, Mississippi, brother, Donald Bostic of Lexington, Kentucky, nephew Rick Bostic of Indiana, and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the Ritzville Fire Station in Ritzville on April 29 at 1 p.m.
