Bulldog News: Middle School activities begin

As the first month of school concludes, students are beginning to fully transition into this school year. Volleyball and football seasons have started and our Bulldog athletes have not disappointed!

On Monday, Sept. 19, the first middle school volleyball match took place in Reardan, where all three teams were able to come out with victories. On Thursday, Sept. 22, another volleyball match took place in Lind, where “A” team was able to beat the Davenport Gorillas.

The first football game of the season also took place in Lind on Sept. 22 where our Bulldogs won with a whopping score of 47-0.

Don’t forget to support our Bulldogs at the next games! You can find a full sports schedule on the school website: http://lrschools.org.

As the year progresses, our school plans on making learning fun and going to school enjoyable. In the month of October, there will be a “Spirit Week” to pep our students up and support our school.

There will also be a “Character Counts Week” that the Honor Society organizes. This week reminds students of traits that are important to have and use to help others.

And lastly, our sixth grade students leave for the annual Camp Wooten this week where I’m sure they’ll have a blast!

As you can see, these months coming up are destined to be well spent! And this year is bound to be a great one!
