Toastmasters to highlight next chamber meeting

Ed Newman, club growth director with Toastmasters International, will highlight the next Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce general membership meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 20, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Memories Diner in downtown Ritzville.

Newman will provide information on the organization that provides resources to become better speakers, confident leaders, conduct meetings and team building.

Toastmasters International is focused on communication and leadership development. This includes leadership in families, teams and businesses, as well as being mentors.

In Toastmasters, individuals gain practice, become better negotiators, gain trust, sharpen management skills, develop and present ideas more effectively, offer constructive criticism, accept feedback more objectively and work better with fellow employees.

All chamber meetings and functions are open to the public.
