Suzanne Lee Lefevre

Suzanne Lee Lefevre, 53, died on May 14, in Spokane, as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born on July 26, 1962, in Ritzville, to Pete and Marjorie (Oestreich) Lefevre where she graduated from Ritzville High School in 1980.

After high school she attended Eastern Washington University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems.

She later received her Master’s degree in Education from Washington State University.

In between, she served in the U.S. Army for two years and received her Veterinary Technician degree from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology.

Suzanne was the much beloved teacher of Pre-Vet Tech at Tri-Tech Skills Center for the Kennewick School District, starting in 2002.

She was an inspiration to hundreds of students over 14 years of teaching, with whom she shared her love of animals. Animals were her main passion, but music and quilting were also a large part of her life.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brothers Andrew and Lindsey of Ritzville, and her sister Jeannine (Roy) Steiner of Fort Collins, Colorado; and nephews Jake (Sarah) Steiner and Austin Steiner of Omaha, Nebraska and niece Anna Steiner of St. Paul, Minnesota.
