Janna Lynn Bennett

Janna Lynn Bennett died from cancer on Thursday, May 12.

She was born in Seoul, South Korea, June 3, 1965, and adopted into Bill and Irene Bennett’s family at age six, in November, 1971.

She spent her childhood in Salem, Oregon, attending Salem Private School and Salem Academy. Janna lived her adult life in the Seattle area.

In February 2016, she moved to Ritzville, to be cared for by her sisters, Marla Bennett and Rena Brown and her son Laif McCaddon.

Janna was preceded in death by her former husband, David McCaddon; her father Bernard (Bill) Bennett; her mother Irene Bennett and sister Marla Bennett, who both passed away in March of this year.

She is survived by her children, Julianne Brimmer, Laif McCaddon, Amy McCaddon and Daniel Turner; two granddaughters and her siblings, Rena (Dale) Brown, Byrne (Denise) Bennett and Linh (Tami) Bennett.

A service to remember Janna will be held at the Ritzville Church of the Nazarene, 108 West Fourth Avenue in Ritzville, on Sunday, May 22, at 1 p.m.
