Voters reminded to send in ballots

Voters are reminded to return Primary Election ballots by Aug. 4 to be counted in the current election. Ballots can be mailed or dropped off at the Adams County Auditor’s office. A drop box is also available 24 hours a day at Ritzville City Hall.

The top two candidates for the Legislative District 9 State Representative Position No. 1 and the Lind Town Council Position No. 4 that receive the majority of votes will move on to the General Election ballot, which eliminates one candidate after the primary.

The Adams County Auditor’s office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and is located at 210 West Broadway Avenue in Ritzville. For questions about the current primary ballot, contact the Auditor’s office at 659-3249.
