2015 Lincoln-Adams 4-H Scholarships

Lincoln-Adams 4-H Leaders Councils are proud to announce the recipients of the 2015 Lincoln-Adams 4-H Scholarships. Trevor King, a 10-year member of the Odessa Jr Livestock 4-H Club and Kate Schell, 9-year member of the Ritzville Livestock and Ritzville Saddle- warmers 4-H Clubs will each receive $500 scholarships toward their future educations.

Trevor graduated from Odessa High School with plans to pursue a degree in engineering. He has participated in numerous community service and leadership positions as well as working on the family farm. His parents are Todd and Terri King.

Kate graduated from Lind/Ritzville High School with plans to pursue a career in dentistry. She has participated in livestock 4-H with market steers, learned public speaking and leadership and most recently served as Ritzville Rodeo Queen. Her parents are Colby and Aimee Schell.

Lincoln-Adams 4-H Scholarships are awarded with consideration of the participation in 4-H as well as awards., leadership positions and community service with points added for those same fields outside of 4-H activities. Funds are raised for the scholarship through donations plus the Lincoln County 4-H Silent Auction at the Fair. All Lincoln-Adams 4-H members that are juniors or seniors are qualified to apply.
