Marlene J. Mosier

Marlene J. Mosier was born in Ritzville on June 22, 1944, and passed away on May 15, after fighting many years with chronic lung disease.

Marlene was a graduate of Ritzville High School, Class of 1962, and went on to earn a degree from Bates College.

She would be the first to tell you that her love for life was spending time with her husband Rick and son Bob. Marlene and Rick were married for over fifty years. Together they traveled the Western states spending time in Arizona and Mexico.

To all of the kids that came to her house, she was known as “Mom”; a tradition that still carries on.

She is survived by her husband Rick, son Bob, and sister Sharon Hamnett of Gresham, OR.

Thank you to Dr. Richard Kahlstrom and Dr. Lawrence Schwartz. She loved you all for making her journey as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
